Restaurant

Restaurant interiors, considered.

A restaurant is experienced long before the first course arrives: the chair you pull out, the table under your hands, the coat rack that greets you at the door. At Kristina Dam Studio, each of those pieces is treated as sculpture, pared back to its essential lines, built from solid oak and steel, and made to hold its shape through service after service, not a single season. Founded in Copenhagen in 2012 by graphic designer Kristina Dam, the studio brings an architect’s precision to furniture for spaces where atmosphere and durability matter equally.

The Restaurant collection brings together everything needed to furnish a dining space from entrance to bar: dining chairs and tables from the Collector and Outline series, counter and bar chairs for the bar, Split café tables and stools for smaller settings, and the Artisan stool for flexible seating. Column coat racks, Dowel mirrors and Planar wall shelves complete the room, while Serif Relief wall art adds a sculptural accent to the walls. Because every piece shares the same honest materials, clean geometry and quiet, monochromatic palette, architects, restaurateurs and interior designers can mix series freely and still create one coherent design language. Solid oak brings warmth and grain to the dining room; stainless steel adds structure and a cool, architectural edge to bars and counters. These are pieces that suit a restaurant’s opening night and will still feel right years into service.

A considered interior carries its language into the smallest details. Pair the furniture with objects from Decoration or Sculptures, a vase on the bar or candle holders on the tables.
