Mirrors

Mirrors, considered.

A mirror is one of the most functional objects in a room, and Kristina Dam Studio treats it with the same sculptural minimalism as everything else it makes — an architect's structure paired with an artist's sense of proportion. Founded in Copenhagen in 2012, the studio designs mirrors meant to stand on their own as objects, not disappear into the wall behind them.

The collection centers on two series: Dowel, with its considered steel framing and distinct walnut detailing across three sizes, and Rotating, a wall-mounted mirror built to pivot on its axis including a full-length version for a hallway or bedroom wall. Together, they turn a daily object into a piece of furniture in its own right, as much sculpture as reflection.

A mirror is often the finishing piece of the room it helps define. In an entryway, pair the Dowel or Rotating mirror with a coat rack from the Column collection; elsewhere, let it anchor a wall alongside the wider Furniture range.
