Live Copenhagen

Micro living, maximum character. For Live Copenhagen, Kristina Dam Studio created two show apartments designed to feel lived in rather than staged — intimate spaces shaped by personality, everyday rituals and the realities of modern city life.

Live Copenhagen develops compact homes for the city's new adults and students, demonstrating that quality of life is not defined by square metres but by thoughtful design. To bring this vision to life, Kristina Dam Studio was commissioned to develop the complete interior concept for two show apartments, encompassing furniture selection, spatial planning, styling and creative direction.

The ambition was to create homes that felt authentic from the moment visitors stepped inside. Rather than presenting generic showroom interiors, the spaces were designed to suggest real lives unfolding within them. Carefully considered details — an open book, personal belongings and thoughtfully arranged objects — helped establish an atmosphere that felt both aspirational and familiar.

Each apartment was developed around a distinct personality, reflecting the lifestyles and needs of its future residents. By focusing on character rather than neutrality, the interiors became warm, inviting and believable, allowing visitors to imagine themselves living there from the very first encounter.

To further strengthen this sense of authenticity, people were incorporated into the visual storytelling, reinforcing the feeling of homes already inhabited and enjoyed. From interior specification and furnishing to styling and art direction, Kristina Dam Studio oversaw every aspect of the project, creating a cohesive living environment where function, atmosphere and identity come together.
